Brad Crawford from 247Sports doesn’t have the Spartans bowling again this year in his latest projections

One college football write for 247Sports doesn’t have the Spartans going bowling again this year.

The Spartans have missed out on the postseason the last three years and now Brad Crawford of 247Sports is projecting that to be a fourth straight season. Crawford released an updated batch of bowl projections this week, and he has left the Spartans off his list.

Crawford has the following teams from the Big Ten going bowling over the Spartans:

Iowa (Rate Bowl)Minnesota (GameAbove Sport Bowl)UCLA (Los Angeles Bowl)Wisconsin (Pinstripe Bowl)Nebraska (Las Vegas Bowl)Illinois (Music City Bowl)USC (Alamo Bowl)Washington (Holiday Bowl)Michigan (Citrus Bowl)Indiana (ReliaQuest Bowl)Penn State (No. 5 seed in College Football Playoff)Oregon (No. 8 seed in College Football Playoff)Ohio State (No. 1 seed in College Football Playoff)

Michigan State finished last season with a 5-7 record, just missing out on reaching bowl eligibility. The Spartans are again projected to finish near that mark, with a win-loss over/under around 5 and 5.5 at this time.
