Though there are some provocateurs who want to claim otherwise, Michigan football vs. Ohio State is arguably the greatest rivalry in all sports, let alone college football. The Game is simply called that for a reason, because it needs very little other description. And in the past four years, it’s been pivotal for one or both teams.
The Wolverines have a four-game winning streak over the Buckeyes, and we already know it’s almost certainly set to kick off at noon (it’s only kicked off later than that once in the past 15 years). But now we also know for certain what channel it will be televised on.
Fox has the premier pick of Big Ten games, and it appears that, per usual, it has selected The Game among its top picks for the 2025 college football season.
Ohio State may have won the national championship last year, but it lost, 13-10, to a 6-5 Michigan football team that was limping into the latter part of the season. The Wolverines also won the previous three contests but had more on the line, as the winner of The Game would go on to play in the Big Ten Championship Game (which Michigan did, and subsequently won).
This season, The Game will take place in Ann Arbor and it will be Sherrone Moore’s third edition coaching the team — last year as the full-time head coach, with the previous year being an interim or acting status with Jim Harbaugh suspended by the Big Ten.
