Jackson Cantwell: Football prospect breaks down upcoming decision

Jackson Cantwell, the No. 1 football prospect in the 2026 class, updates his recruitment ahead of his upcoming decison.

Jackson Cantwell’s highly anticipated college decision is here. The top football prospect in the Class of 2026 will announce his college destination on Tuesday afternoon.

Cantwell, a five-star 6-foot-8, 320-pound offensive tackle, will decide in a ceremony at 2:45 p.m. in the Aetos Center for Performing Arts on Nixa High School’s campus. He will choose between his four finalists — Georgia, Miami (Florida), Ohio State, and Oregon.

The Nixa High School phenom has been the most sought-after recruit in the Springfield area’s history, attracting over a dozen power-conference coaches to Nixa over the last several months. He visited Georgia this past weekend, with several national recruiting publications predicting he’ll commit to the Bulldogs or Miami.
