The rivalry between Notre Dame football and the USC Trojans goes beyond the field, as it often extends to the recruiting trail and now the transfer portal as well.
Both teams have each won battles off the field, and it looks like the Irish are gaining stream in winning another over the Trojans with 2026 wide receiver Kohen Brown. The 5-foot, 11-inch and 175-pound prospect recently decommitted from USC shortly after receiving a Notre Dame offer, and late on Monday he announced that he’ll be taking a visit to South Bend.
The nation’s No. 620 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings will visit Notre Dame starting on June 13th, as it will be an official visit. What’s interesting about this visit is the dates were originally set to see the Trojans, but that is clearly off the table now.
It very much looks like the Irish are in the drivers seat for Brown’s recruitment at the moment, and could seal the deal following his official visit.
