Notre Dame football continued rolling on the recruiting trail, as 2026 Texas running back Jonaz Walton committed on Wednesday afternoon.
The Irish have been on quite a streak recently, adding numerous prospect to what is viewed as one of the best classes in the country. They now have two nationally ranked running backs committed, as they pair are both 4-star prospects.

There aren’t many teams that ask one back to be the bell-cow in college football, and Osborne understands the need to rest as others get their turns. The duo could do what he said, and take over college football in the near future.

Playing in Texas, Walton faces high-level competition most weeks, and if you can dominate, then you are one of the best around. He’s quick, has great balance, and knows how to turn upfield when the opening is there. The Irish got a good one.
