Four-star IOL names Georgia Bulldogs among his top four schools

The Georgia Bulldogs are drawing nearer to landing an interior offensive lineman for their 2026 class. Four-star interior offensive lineman Jared Smith listed Georgia as he narrowed down to four schools, according to On3. He also listed Auburn, Rutgers and Georgia Tech among his top schools.

Smith measures at 6-foot-4, 325 pounds. He plays high school football for Woodland High School in Stockbridge, Georgia.

He has an official visit scheduled with Georgia on June 6, along with a visit to Rutgers on May 30. He hasn’t scheduled official visits with Auburn or Georgia Tech, but early signing day doesn’t occur for another seven months, so he still has plenty of time to visit those programs.

If Smith were to commit, he’d be the second offensive lineman to commit to UGA, joining three-star offensive tackle Graham Houston in that regard. Considering Georgia lost out on five-star Jackson Cantwell to Miami, it’s even more important to land Smith.

Jared Smith is the No. 26 interior offensive line prospect in the country and the No. 39 prospect from Georgia. He’s ranked as the No. 346 recruit in the nation in the class of 2026.
