Running back Jeremiyah Love is just outside the Top 100 for the Fighting Irish.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish cornerback Leonard Moore might end up being the most impactful player for the team this upcoming season.
That’s according to one preseason ranking, at least.
On3 Sports has a look at what it dubs the Top 100 players in college football this year, and Moore is listed at No. 7. Moore, who stepped up as a freshman after Benjamin Morrison got hurt, had 46 tackles — 34 solo — and two interceptions last season. He’ll be expected to be not just a starter, but a star, on a stout Notre Dame defense as a sophomore.
Running back Jeremiyah Love is 11th on the list. Love is expected to be not only one of the leaders of the Irish offense in 2025, but one of the best RBs in the nation. In 2004 he had 17 rushing touchdowns — at least one in every regular-season game — and 1,125 rushing yards, plus two receiving touchdowns.
The third and final Notre Dame player on the list is offensive tackle Aamil Wagner, at 95.
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith was ranked at No. 1.
