Michigan State football has extended an offer to an elite edge rusher in the 2027 class.
Anthony Cavallaro of Largo, Fla. announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Cavallaro posted on his social media X account to announce the offer from Michigan State.
Cavallaro is a four-star edge rusher in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He holds a recruiting rating of 92.68 in the composite system. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, and plays for Indiana Rocks Christian School.
Cavallaro ranks as the No. 21 edge rusher in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class. He is also listed as the No. 184 overall player in the country and No. 17 player from Florida.
Michigan State is one of only four schools to extend an offer to Cavallaro so far in his recruitment. He also holds offers from Syracuse, Iowa State and USF.
