Four-star defensive lineman Keshawn Stancil from Clayton, North Carolina, who has received over 25 scholarship offers, is now narrowing his focus in the recruiting process.
On Wednesday, he announced on social media that his recruitment is down to five schools in the Miami Hurricanes, NC State Wolfpack, Penn State Nittany Lions, Georgia Bulldogs and Clemson Tigers. Stancil already completed an official visit with the Bulldogs last weekend and is set to visit the Hurricanes, Nittany Lions, and Wolfpack next month.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman plays high school football for Clayton High School. He’s the No. 10 recruit in North Carolina and the No. 153 recruit in the nation. Stancil is ranked as the No. 20 defensive lineman in the country. The Clayton star also competes in track and field.
With commitments from Jordan Smith, Kelean Jones, and Seven Cloud Georgia is being aggressive in their recruiting on the defensive side of the football. The Bulldogs are starting to round out their class of 2026 and are in recruiting battles for five-stars like Tyler Atkinson and Xavier Griffin and four-stars such as Peyton Dyer and Chauncey Kennon. Securing a commitment from Stancil would be a significant win for the Bulldogs.
Georgia has the No. 15 recruiting class in the country with nine total commitments. Kirby Smart and company have one defensive line commitment from three-star Seven Cloud.
