According to multiple reports, a current LSU football commit is set to visit the Alabama Crimson Tide this weekend.
That prospect is wide receiver Kenny Darby, a Louisiana native who has been committed to the in-state Tigers since Nov. 2024. Darby also, according to reports, previously shut his recruitment down earlier this year.
According to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, Darby is currently rated as the nation’s No. 155 overall player in the 2026 class, as well as the No. 7 prospect in the state of Louisiana where he attends Airline High School. A four-star prospect, Darby also ranks as the No. 23 overall wide receiver in the class.
Darby will now be yet another name to monitor as the Crimson Tide prepare to host a loaded recruiting weekend in Tuscaloosa. Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class currently has only five commitments, none of which are wide receivers.
