Vols offer scholarship to 2027 offensive lineman

Tennessee is already recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to offensive lineman Jordan Agbanoma on Thursday.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Agbanoma announced.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect is from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia.

Grayson has produced notable college football prospects: former Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche, Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche, Clemson running back Wayne Gallman, Clemson running back Phil Mafah and offensive lineman Wanya Morris. Morris played at Tennessee and Oklahoma.

Purdue was the first program to offer Agbanoma a scholarship on May 7. Additional programs to offer a scholarship to the 2027 prospect include Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, UMass and USF.

Tennessee does not have a commitment for its 2027 football recruiting class. The Vols have eight commitments in their 2026 football recruiting class: quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman C.J. Edwards and defensive lineman Zach Groves.
