Michigan State football has been named a finalist for a three-star wide receiver that recently visited with the Spartans this past weekend.
Elijah West of Cantonment, Fla. announced his top seven schools on Monday, with the Spartans cracking his list. According to a post from him on social media platform X, West is down to the following seven schools: Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Kansas State, Tulane, Troy and South Alabama.
West also revealed that he will be making his official college commitment on July 1.
West is a three-star prospect with a recruiting rating of 86 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 168 wide receiver in the country, and is listed as the No. 114 player from Florida in the class.
Michigan State hosted West for an official visit this past weekend, and he is now scheduled to take visits to a few of his other finalists. He will head to Georgia Tech this upcoming weekend and then Arkansas the week after that.
