The Wisconsin Badgers have secured a commitment from 2026 three-star tight end Jack Sievers, he announced on Monday evening.
Sievers, who attends Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett, Washington, is a 6’4, 225-pound tight end known for his athleticism and ability with the football in his hands.
Wisconsin was the favorite for the three-star coming into the weekend and was able to close, getting them their first tight end of the class.
The Washington native got his offer from Wisconsin back in September of 2024, marking his fourth scholarship offer after Washington State, Cal, and Nevada.
Boise State, Minnesota, and San Diego State were all slated to get official visits over the next three weekends, but Sievers popped early, giving Nate Letton a boost in the tight end room.
Wisconsin had been after Gavin Mueller, who took an official to Madison back in April, but he committed to Colorado last month. That shifted their attention to a pair of tight end, Sievers and three-star Jack Janda, who each had their official visit scheduled for this weekend.
Now, with Sievers in the fold, the focus is on Janda, who could close out the class for Wisconsin with a commitment after the weekend.
Wisconsin has landed multiple tight ends in two straight classes. That could be the case again in 2026 with Sievers and Janda.
