A decade ago, Minkah Fitzpatrick made his name nationally as a star on Nick Saban’s Alabama defense.
Now, his younger brother will get to do the same at a different SEC powerhouse.
On Tuesday night, Justice Fitzpatrick, a four-star cornerback out of St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), announced his commitment to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Justice ranks as a top 100 prospect in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. The outlet ranks him as the No. 87 overall prospect, the No. 8 cornerback, and the No. 10 player out of Florida.
Last season, he starred on the Raiders defense, accounting for 34 tackles, seven pass breakups, and a pair of interceptions.
While he’s forging his own path in Athens, many may look at what his brother did in Tuscaloosa and now in the NFL ranks.
Minkah was ranked as one of the top 50 players coming out of high school. He would go on to three seasons with the Crimson Tide, racking up 171 tackles, 24 pass breakups, and nine interceptions before being selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 11th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Georgia adds to talented 2026 class
This also was just the latest win in what’s been another recruiting win for the Bulldogs.
Georgia now boasts 12 pledges in its 2026 class headlined by five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. Of those 12 commitments, six are on the defensive side of the ball including four in the secondary.
Justice ranks as their third-highest pledge so far this cycle according to 247Sports.
