Michigan State football currently possesses two tight end commitments in their 2026 recruiting class in Joey Caudill and Eddie Whiting. The Spartans staff was going to make room for a third, though, if in-state product Jack Janda wanted to join the MSU program.
That will no longer be the case, and Janda’s official visit for later in the month has been canceled, now that the Novi (MI) Catholic Central product has committed to Wisconsin.
The Shamrocks standout was slated to officially visit Michigan State on June 20, while also slated to visit Stanford, but the Badgers did enough on his first visit of the season to gain the services of the 6-foot-6, 245 pound tight end.
