Florida football gained its sixth commitment in the Class of 2026 Sunday evening with Buchholz 4-star WR Justin Williams deciding to stay close to home.
Florida football’s sixth commit in the Class of 2026 won’t have to travel far to reach Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. In fact, it’s only about a four-mile trip from Buchholz to the Swamp.
Justin Williams, the Bobcats’ stud 4-star WR, committed to the Gators on Sunday evening, June 8. The rising senior completed his official visit to UF this weekend. According to 247 Sports, his visit was the third on his schedule along with Indiana and Kentucky.
On May 15, Williams unveiled his top five to On3. It included Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri and Florida State.
However, the WR decided not to make any more visits and locked it up with Billy Napier and Co. The Florida head coach celebrated the news by posting his trademark sunglasses emoji on X.
247 ranks Williams as the No. 14 athlete in the country and the 23rd-ranked prospect in Florida. He was named the Gainesville Sun’s Big School Offensive Football Player of the Year for the 2024 season.
Williams is the program’s first WR commit of the 2026 cycle. Napier, of course, brought in WRs Dallas Wilson, Vernell Brown III and Naeshaun Montgomery as part of the Class of 2025.
Williams continues an long lineage of Bobcats to UF, from Doug Johnson and Travis McGriff in the 1990s, to Myles Graham and Trent Whittemore in the last few years.
