Mosley tight end and USA Today top 100 Florida recruit Adam Land has committed to Mississippi State, he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter. He chose the Bulldogs over offers from Arizona, Baylor, Pittsburgh and UAB.
“The biggest component was Coach Cooper and Coach Lebby because every time I go up there it feels like home,” Land said. “They are down to Earth and always great to my family…there was no reason to wait because I knew it was going to be my place.”
The 6-foot-3, 218-pound tight end is a three-star prospect according to recruiting site 247 Sports and has had several visits up to Starkville, which ultimately aided in the decision.
Land is a rising senior who had a solid junior campaign with 22 receptions for 337 yards and two touchdowns. He is following in the footsteps of former teammate Lo’Kavion Jackson, who signed this past December and will suit up this fall for the Bulldogs.
“It is good to know someone that is already there so it will be good to see him and I am sure I will be able to talk to him with any questions I have,” Land said.
