Texas A&M’s 2025 football season will kick off against UTSA in Kyle Field on Saturday, August 31, as coach Mike Elko enters his second season at the helm. This is a critical campaign for Elko and his veteran team, who struggled down the stretch during his inaugural 2024 season, ending 1-4 after starting 7-1.
Bringing back a wealth of talent at every position, the Aggies are poised to make their first trip to the College Football Playoff, if starting quarterback Marcel Reed improves in the pocket, and the secondary improves after allowing too many big plays through the air during key SEC matchups.
While it’s tough to predict any team’s progress during the offseason, Texas A&M’s 14 transfer additions coupled with a talented 2025 signing class should greatly improve the Aggies’ postseason chances. On Wednesday, the remainder of Texas A&M’s 12-game 2025 schedule was released after the first five received times last month.
For the second consecutive season, every SEC game lacked a start time, while four conference games received Flex times. Here are the four allotted time slots: early (11 a.m.-noon), afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m.), flex (2:30-7 p.m.), and night (5-7 p.m.).
