Checking out Michigan State football’s official visit slate

Michigan State football is gearing up for their fourth big slate of June’s official visit season. With the Spartans already holding ten commitments, the coaching staff is looking to build on that number with another weekend of high priority targets coming in for visits.

As of right now, the Spartans are slated to host seven players this weekend, five of which are uncommitted prospects, while two are currently committed to MSU. There are plenty of opportunities for MSU to add to the class, with those opportunities coming with high profile targets being on campus.

Of the five uncommitted prospects, three are high value targets, while two are targets at positions of need where the Spartans hold a sizeable advantage in their recruitment.

Rounding out the visit schedule, the Spartans are going to have two of their committed prospects on campus, who will do their part in recruiting these uncommitted prospects to MSU.

Check out who will be on campus this weekend:

TE Joey Caudill (MSU commit)

A high school quarterback that is converting to tight end in college, Joey Caudill is a 6-foot-5, 215 pound 3-star prospect. He was the first prospect that committed to the Spartans in the 2026 recruiting class.

A Mansfield, Ohio native, Caudill will be doing his best at bringing talent with him to East Lansing within the 2026 recruiting class.

OT Eli Bickel (MSU commit)

Another MSU commit, Bickel is a native of North Branch, Michigan, and is the lone offensive line prospect in the Spartans 2026 recruiting class at this time. A 6-foot-6, 270 pound tackle, he is a 3-star prospect that has the body type to be the perfect building block for OL coach Jim Michalczik.

Like Caudill, Bickel is here to aid the staff and do what he needs to do in order for the Spartans to continue adding to their 2026 recruiting class.
