Michigan State football gains commitment from Quinn Buckey

Michigan State football has struck again, this time getting another offensive lineman to join the 2026 recruiting class. The Spartans, once again, found themselves on the west coast to land a coveted prospect.

Quinn Buckey, a Bakersfield, California native, has announced his commitment to Michigan State. He become the third offensive lineman, joining Eli Bickel and Collin Campbell, and the 12th commitment of the Spartans 2026 recruiting class.

A 6-foot-6, 270 pound offensive lineman, Buckey projects as a tackle at the next level. MSU had to beat out Arizona, UCLA and Vanderbilt for the 3-star recruit.

Coming from a family with a ton of college football ties, Buckey’s father, Jeff, was an offensive lineman at Stanford before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins. His older brother, Zach, is a defensive lineman at Stanford, while his other older brother, Grant, is a defensive lineman at UCLA.

The massive commitment for the Spartans offensive line marks the 12th for the staff, with Buckey joining Kayd Coffman, Braylon Hodge, Cory House, Eddie Whiting, KJ Deriso, Brayden Thomas, Joey Caudill, Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy, Christopher Knauls, Bickel and Campbell, who are all a part of the Spartans class.
