Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class will be well-represented on the big stage later this month, as four-star quarterback commit Helaman Casuga and four-star Edge rusher Jordan Carter have been invited to compete in the annual Rivals Five-Star event in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 23-24.
Casuga received his invitation on Thursday, while Carter announced that he will head to the Colts Stadium on Friday. This is an impressive feat for Coach Mike Elko and his staff, considering that both players are committed to the program, including Carter’s announcement via TexAgs that he has likely shut down his recruitment after his official visit to Texas A&M last weekend.
Rival Five-Star is a chance for the top 100 players in the 2026 cycle to compete at the highest level and showcase their elite skillsets to help solidify their standing as the best prospects at their respective positions. Casuga’s 6,475 yards and 60 touchdowns during his first two high school seasons booked his ticket, while Carter’s 62 tackles, 13 sacks, and 17 tackles for loss during his 2024 junior season are equally eye-popping.
According to Rivals, Carter is currently positioned as the 146th-ranked prospect in the 2026 cycle, the 13th-ranked defensive end, and the 19th-ranked prospect in Georgia.
