That’s a three-day hat trick.
Missouri football made it three straight days with a commitment to its Class of 2026 on Wednesday, as three-star wide receiver Devyon Hill-Lomax pledged to the Tigers. On3’s Hayes Fawcett first reported the news.
He follows three-star, Chicago-based running back Maxwell Warner, who committed Monday, and three-star, Detroit-area offensive lineman Khalief Canty Jr., who committed Tuesday.
That takes the Tigers’ 2026 recruiting class to seven total players, six of whom play on the offensive side of the ball.
Mizzou previously had landed four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar, four-star wide receiver Jabari Brady, three-star tight end Isaac Jensen and four-star, in-state linebacker Keenan Harris.
Hill-Lomax is the Tigers’ second pledge from the greater St. Louis metro area in this cycle, following Harris out of SLUH, as the wide receiver plays his high school football at Edwardsville High in Illinois.
Mizzou’s newest wide receiver has good size for his position, listed at 6 foot 4 by the recruiting service 247Sports. He committed to MU over Cincinnati and Purdue after visiting the Tigers this past weekend.
Hill-Lomax is the No. 1,526-ranked player in his class in 247Sports’ composite national rankings. The receiver is the No. 38-ranked player in the state of Illinois, and is rated as the 220 wideout.
Missouri is expected to lose two of its nine current scholarship wide receivers to eligibility at the end of the 2025 season: Transfers Kevin Coleman Jr. and Xavier Loyd. Drinkwitz and company have three rookie wide receivers joining the roster this upcoming season, with Donovan Olugbode, Shaun Terry II and DaMarion Fowlkes each undergoing their rookie campaign in 2025.
Mizzou now has the No. 81-ranked recruiting class in the country, which ranks ahead of only Auburn in the SEC, per 247Sports.
