Many top Florida high school football recruits committed to colleges in June.Florida, Miami, and Florida State are considered the top three in-state recruiters.UCF’s recruiting is slower than expected under the new regime.Out-of-state programs like Georgia, UCLA, and Nebraska are actively recruiting Florida players.

It’s only July, but most of the top senior football recruits in Florida are already spoken for.

Only five of the top 24 players on the USA Today Florida Network Top 100 remain uncommitted after a busy June.

St. Thomas Aquinas defensive back Justice Fitzpatrick (No. 12) and Miami Northwestern defensive lineman James Johnson (No. 20) committed to Georgia in June.

Vero Beach offensive tackle Micah “Champ” Smith (No. 14) and Clearwater offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough (No. 17) committed to UCLA and Texas A&M, respectively, while Miami was able to keep Venice edge rusher Asharri Charles (No. 19) in state.
