Four-star edge rusher Rashad Streets is quickly rising among the nations’ class of 2027 recruiting prospects, and he earned his 32nd offer on Thursday. Streets announced an offer from Ole Miss yesterday on social media after receiving one from Georgia earlier this week.
The 6-foot-4, 230 pound edge rusher had an outstanding sophomore season at Millbrook High School. Streets is currently the top prospect in North Carolina and ranked No. 43 nationally. He’s ranked in the top 10 among edge rushers, and has offers from many of the top schools in the country.
Streets already has offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame and Tennessee, and now holds an offer from Ole Miss. The Millbrook sophomore collected 123 tackles, 26.5 sacks and 35.5 tackles for loss last season, and has two more years to develop.
Streets has been a top target for many of the teams who’ve offered him, including the Fighting Irish, who offered him back in March. Now, head coach Lane Kiffin has entered the conversation to try to steal Streets away and convince him to become a Rebel.
Ole Miss currently has one four-star edge rush commit in the class of 2026 and a defensive line commit in the 2027 class. Notre Dame has both a four and five-star edge rusher committed in their 2026 class, but none in their 2027 class yet.
Streets could be the Fighting Irish’s first class of 2027 commit at the position, but he has plenty of time to field more offers before he make the final call. After a stellar sophomore campaign, the four-star edge rusher could elevate to become a top five prospect in the country at his position this upcoming season.
