Oklahoma State football adds CB Brandon Ford to 2026 recruiting class

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State football had lost a couple of cornerback recruits early in the summer, but fortified the position over the weekend.

A few days after adding Bixby cornerback Braeden Presley, the Cowboys flipped Crowley, Texas, prospect Brandon Ford, who had been committed to Kansas State.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Ford, a three-star recruit from North Crowley High School in the Fort Worth area, announced his decision on his X account Sunday afternoon.

Though he had been committed to K-State since October, the speedy and physical Ford had an offer list that neared 30 in all, including much of the Big 12, SMU, Nebraska, Memphis, Washington State and others.

A starter at cornerback since his freshman season, he has six career interceptions, picking off two to go with 39 tackles as a junior last season.

He brings the OSU recruiting class to 14 total prospects with eight on the defensive side.
