UNC football’s rating in EA Sports College Football 26 revealed
EA Sports College Football 26 will officially be released on Thursday as the latest installment of the game will be available for everyone to play. Following a successful release in 2024 that saw the return of the iconic franchise, the early reviews on this game are good.
And if you’re a North Carolina fan, you probably want to know what their overall rating is.
In the team’s first year under NFL Hall of Fame coach Bill Belichick, the UNC football team is rated at an 82 overall with an 81 offense and an 84 defense. The Tar Heels are tied for the No. 24 overall ranked team, tied with teams like South Carolina and Illinois.
Their best of the two sides of the football, defense (84), has them tied at the bottom of the top-25 with South Carolina, Arizona State, Iowa, and Florida.
The Alabama Crimson Tide come in as the top-rated team overall at an 89 rating. In the top five, they are followed by c Texas Longhorns, Ohio State Buckeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
For North Carolina, Andrew Simpson comes in as the top-overall rated player on the team. The redshirt senior linebacker transferred into North Carolina this offseason from Boise State, a former College Football Playoff team.
Simpson is followed by 86-rated Thaddeus Dixon, 85-rated Marcus Allen, and 85-rated Chad Lindberg.
