“The path to playing time was a big factor on why Arizona State won,” said Miree in an interview with Rivals. “The coaches were the most real throughout the whole process and me and my family love Tempe.”
The four-star recruit becomes the 18th commitment for the Sun Devils and the second tight end in the Class of ’26, joining Hayden Vercher of Newbury Park (California) High School. Arizona State currently has the No. 42 ranked class according to Rivals and is No. 6 in the Big 12.
Miree (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) also joins a Sun Devil program with high expectations under rising-star coach Kenny Dillingham and several key pieces back from that Big 12 title team that was one play away from reaching the College Football Playoff semifinals.
As a junior last season for Princeton, Miree led the Vikings in receptions (29), receiving yards (404) and receiving touchdowns (6), as the Vikings finished the season 9-4.
