Tennessee football hosts Georgia at Neyland Stadium and plays road games at Alabama and Florida as part of its 2025 schedule in the fifth season of coach Josh Heupel’s tenure.
The Vols have tried to reload with a young roster following a 2024 appearance in the College Football Playoff. They’re led by preseason All-SEC selections in cornerback Jermod McCoy, defensive back/punt returner Boo Carter and linebacker Arion Carter.
However, McCoy, a 2024 All-American, will begin the season on the sideline rehabbing a torn ACL suffered in January. UT must also break in eight new starters on offense, including quarterback.

Tennessee will start the season in the Aflac Kickoff Game against Syracuse in Atlanta on Aug. 30 (noon ET, ABC). After that, the Vols will play five of six games at Neyland Stadium, where Heupel touts a 25-4 record.
