Michigan State football has extend an offer to a high-end three-star edge rusher from Colorado.
Troy Mailo of Denver announced on Sunday evening that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Mailo took to social media platform X to announce the offer from the Spartans.
Mailo is a three-star prospect in the 2027 class, with a recruiting rating of 87 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 40 edge rusher and No. 466 overall prospect in the class. He is also listed as the No. 2 player from Colorado, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to enter his recruitment. According to 247Sports, Mailo also holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington, Washington State, Colorado State, New Mexico State and Western Michigan.
According to the social media post on the offer, Michigan State defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa and assistant defensive line coach Antjuan Simmons are involved on the recruitment of Mailo.
