Glass Break: Ohio State has barred Dave Portnoy from the stadium for his debut on Fox’s BNK, sources told @FOS. Portnoy will still appear on the program pre-Horseshoe. Barstool’s CFB show will NOT be in Columbus this week.

The new Fox Sports/Barstool Sports partnership is off to a rocky start. Saturday’s Big New Kickoff was supposed to be the debut of the alliance between two of sports media’s biggest brands. But Ohio State has thrown a wrench into the plans for Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.
Fox and Barstool announced in July that the two media giants were teaming up for the upcoming football season. The wide-ranging collaboration includes the Barstool College Football Show leading into Big Noon Kickoff that would now feature Portnoy.
Portnoy is a Michigan alum and a frequent critic/troll of rival Ohio State. Many associated with the Buckeyes were not happy about the inclusion of Portnoy in the Big Noon team since OSU is frequently featured.
Former Ohio State linebacker Bobby Carpenter said on his Columbus radio show Monday echoed that sentiment saying, “not all that happy about [Portnoy] being hired” at Fox. Co-host Austin Ward added that Portnoy is “not welcome inside the Horseshoe.”
Turns out he’s right.
Ohio State has officially barred Barstool Sports from campus and its founder Dave Portnoy from entering Ohio Stadium for the Buckeyes game against the Texas Longhorns, according to Front Office Sports. Portnoy will still appear on Big Noon Kickoff, but he won’t join the rest of the cast inside the stadium for the final segment.
