Clemson secured its second commitment of the weekend as four-star wide receiver Naeem Burroughs announced his pledge while visiting for the Elite Retreat.
Burroughs, a standout from Bolles School (FL), holds nearly 40 offers and had been planning official visits to Texas, Southern Cal, and Florida this summer. The 6-foot, 170-pound receiver earned his Clemson offer after impressing at camp last year.
Ranked No. 63 overall and the No. 11 receiver in the 2026 class per the 247 Composite, Burroughs becomes the first wideout to commit to Clemson in this cycle. He joins four-star offensive lineman Adam Guthrie, bringing the Tigers’ 2026 class to eight total commitments.
Following his decision, Burroughs shared his excitement on social media: “First I want to give all the glory to God! Coach Swinney and Coach Grish are amazing coaches! They have a strong foundation and I want to be a part of that! Go Tigers!”
With Burroughs on board, Clemson’s 2026 class climbed five spots to No. 16 in the 247Sports Team Composite rankings.
