Alabama football bolstered its 2026 recruiting class on Thursday with an addition to the trenches.
The Crimson Tide landed a commitment from four-star interior defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland on Thursday, Cleveland announced on social media via On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Cleveland, who attends Parker High School in Birmingham, is the No. 95 overall player and No. 7 defensive lineman nationally, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 7 player in the state of Alabama.
The 6-foot-3, 305-pound lineman also held offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Miami, among others.
Cleveland is Alabama’s second commit of its 2026 recruiting class, joining four-star cornerback Dorian Barney. The Crimson Tide already have 23 commitments in their 2025 class and are already starting to look ahead to the next crop of players.
Cleveland has 38 total tackles with five sacks and six tackles for loss this season, according to MaxPreps.
