The Bakersfield College Athletics Hall of Fame welcomed its fourth class with a ceremony at Luigi’s Warehouse on Oct. 16.
Seven individuals and the 1976 Renegades football team were inducted, joining 25 honorees and the national-championship 1959 BC football squad.
The individual inductees were Dr. William Baker (team physician/football player); Phil Dumatrait (baseball); Louis Wright (football); Ken Calvin (football player); Dave Manning (football player); Vernon Burke (football player); and Cathie Wilson Jones (track and field).
