Penn State’s Drew Allar has been to Lucas Oil Stadium before as a college football fan, not as a player.
Allar and his father, Kevin, attended “two or three” Big Ten championship games in Indianapolis, the last one in 2013 when Michigan State beat Ohio State 34-24.
“I probably saw the last one when I was in grade school,” he said. “That was kind of cool. Obviously this will be my first time on the field.”

He said he enjoyed playing in two NFL indoor stadiums last year, Ford Field in Detroit for the Michigan State regular-season finale and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl against Mississippi.
He’s looking forward to playing in the home of the Indianapolis Colts.
“We’re going to be in a really cool environment,” Allar said. “It’s going to be a packed house with fans from both teams traveling really well.”

One of the two from California is linebacker LaVar…
