Five-star quarterback Elijah Haven named LSU as one of his three scheduled visit destinations this spring.
According to a report from Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman, Haven will also visit Florida and Michigan. The six-foot-four, 205-pounder is fielding a host of power four offers, including Ole Miss, Auburn, and Alabama.
On3’s Industry Rankings slots LSU as the favorite to land Haven’s commitment. A native of Baton Rouge, he is the top prospect in the state and at his position. He ranks second nationally behind edge rusher LaDamion Guyton.
However, 247Sports ranks Haven as the No. 1 overall recruit in the class and Haven has a chance to be the industry No. 1 when it’s all said and done.
Haven’s spring visit won’t be his first to LSU. Thanks to his proximity, the five-star has become acquainted with LSU’s campus in recent years. His trip to Ann Arbor will be his second and he already took two trips to Florida State and one to Tuscaloosa.
Securing Haven’s commitment would go a long way for head coach Brian Kelly and his staff’s goal of keeping the best Louisiana prospects at home. The strategy seems to be working thus far for the 2026 class, which has six commitments all from the state and ranks first in the SEC.

LSU is well positioned with a few elite 2027 quarterbacks. Along with Haven, LSU is contending for Colton Nussmeier and Payton Houston.
