Nebraska football quarterback target Trae Taylor to visit on Thursday

Nebraska football quarterback recruiting target Trae Taylor is set to visit the program on Thursday afternoon. Taylor arrived in Lincoln on Wednesday before making his visit. The quarterback’s stock is rising as he is currently being recruited by Michigan, Texas A&M, Illinois, and LSU.

This will be his third visit to Lincoln so far, all of which have been unofficial. However, Taylor has spoken highly of the program in the past, while recruiting experts have viewed Nebraska as firmly in the mix. According to the On3 recruiting rankings, the quarterback is ranked the 12th overall quarterback nationally and the third overall player in his class from the state of Illinois.

It will undoubtedly be interesting to see how Nebraska approaches this recruitment. They already have TJ Lateef on the roster, with Dayton Raiola waiting in the wings. The program has done a solid job of stacking the quarterback position over the last couple of classes, and they have another chance to do that with Taylor, but they are facing stiff competition.
