Nico Iamaleava is no longer a Tennessee Vol – and the quarterback competition in Knoxville is open. During the spring game, former four-stars Jake Merklinger and George MacIntyre each had their moments thrust into the opportunity to compete for the starting job. Then on Monday the Vols bolstered their QB room the addition of Cal transfer Joey Aguilar.

Brandon has not wavered in his commitment to Tennessee since giving the Vols his word ahead of his junior season. Rivals’ No. 1 passer has only visited Knoxville since and that’s a theme we expect to continue.
