Thankful for my time at Michigan state. Thanks to Coach Wozniak and Coach Smith for the opportunity. With that being said, I am officially in the transfer portal with all eligibility! pic.twitter.com/1OIWrIvdPp

A walk-on Spartans tight end has hit the transfer portal.

Reeves Taylor entered the transfer portal on Wednesday, joining a host of walk-on players from Michigan State to announce this week they are transferring away from the program. Taylor was part of the 2022 class and is from Dexter, Mich.

Taylor never played for the Spartans and will have four years of eligibility for wherever he ends up next.

Out of high school, Taylor was an unranked prospect but did receive attention from numerous FBS programs. According to 247Sports, Taylor held an offer from Arkansas State and also received interest from Michigan, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Stanford, Austin Peay and UT-Martin.
