A handful of former Florida football players didn’t hear their names called through seven rounds in the 2025 NFL Draft.
But those former Florida Gators may still get an opportunity to land on an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent.
It’s a more difficult path to make a team as a UDFA, but it’s not unprecedented. Quarterback Kurt Warner and wide receiver Drew Pearson began their Pro Football Hall of Fame careers as undrafted free agents. Ditto for former Chargers All-Pro tight end Antonio Gates, who was a basketball player at Kent State.
Most UDFAs attend rookie minicamps and spring OTAs, which provide a crucial opportunity to make an impression in front of coaches and personnel evaluators. From there, the hope is get invited to fall camp and continue to make plays in NFL preseason games.

Florida football offensive lineman Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson is signing with the Tennessee Titans as a free agent, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. The deal is for $245,000 guaranteed with a $20,000 signing bonus.
A transfer from San Diego State, Crenshaw-Dickson started 11 of 12 games for Florida in 2024, logging 685 offensive snaps at right tackle with a pass block grade of 81.1 and an offense grade of 71.6 according to Pro Football Focus (PFF). He led UF twice in highest PFF offense grade along with allowing zero sacks…
