It’s been a relatively quiet spring transfer period so far for Florida football.
Florida Gators coach Billy Napier said following UF’s spring game that 98% of players had reached agreements to return next season. So, it’s no surprise. Under Napier, Florida built a roster with a mix of transfers and high school recruits that finished last season 8-5 and won four straight games to close the 2024 season.
UF’s incoming 2025 freshman class ranked seventh nationally, per 247Sports.com. The class already showed signs of playmaking ability in the Orange and Blue game earlier this month, with freshman receiver Dallas Wilson recording 10 catches for 195 yards and 2 TDs.
The FBS transfer portal window opened April 16 and closed April 25. Florida can longer lose any players but has scholarship room to add players who remain unsigned inside the portal.
“We’ll evaluate what becomes available every day going forward,” Napier said. “Maybe there’s a situation that can make our team better around we’ll definitely be aggressive if we feel that way.”
Here’s a look at players that UF has added and lost this spring:

As a true freshman in 2023, Bett played in 10 games with one start, recording nine tackles, two pass breakups and a sack. He red-shirted in 2024, appearing in just one game against LSU in the Texas Bowl.
A former Ellison High standout from Killeen, Texas, Bett was a consensus three-star prospect, tabbed by Rivas as the No. 27 defensive tackle in the nation and No. 75 player in Texas.
