Georgia has landed its five-star quarterback.
Jared Curtis, a top-10 prospect in the Rivals250, committed back to Kirby Smart and the Dawgs over Oregon.
After making a string of visits back and forth between Athens and Eugene since reopening his recruitment midway through his junior season at Nashville (Tenn.) Christian, Curtis found his way back into Georgia’s star-studded 2026 class.

Both Smart and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo have remained pivotal figures in Curtis’ recruitment — with strong connections to the quarterback as well as his family.
They’ve kept their feet on the gas with the touted quarterback target throughout the process.
“I like my relationship with Coach Bobo and Coach Smart. They’ve been there since Day 1 and I’ve been talking to them, building up my relationship with them,” Curtis told Rivals.
Since committing to the Dawgs early on as an underclassman and since resetting his recruitment during the fall, the Georgia coaching staff has not missed a beat with the blue-chip passer.

Those relationships have remained intact for years — and loomed large as Curtis sat down to lock in his decision.
“Keep building that relationship with them is important because I can definitely see myself there,” Curtis said. “I’ve been talking to them on a weekly basis, and when I go up there, they teach me a little bit of the offense each times I go.”
Georgia edged out Oregon, which was a factor in the five-star quarterback’s recruitment prior to his early pledge to the Dawgs — and gave them plenty of run leading into his May 5 commitment reveal.
Everything lined up for Georgia, however, which checked all the boxes for the elite quarterback, who this staff has compared to former Bulldog Matthew Stafford.
