Tennessee is already recruiting for its 2028 football signing class. The Vols offered defensive lineman Jayden Beckley a scholarship on Tuesday.
“Extremely honored to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Beckley said.
The 6-foot-2, 280-pound prospect is from Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey. Bergen Catholic is home to former Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano.
In addition to playing football, Beckley is a heavyweight wrestler for Bergen Catholic.
Morgan State was the first school to offer Beckley a scholarship on May 31, 2024. Additional Power Four programs to offer Beckley a scholarship include Michigan, Texas A&M, Boston College, Syracuse, West Virginia, Ole Miss and UCF.
Tennessee does not have any commitments for its 2028 football recruiting class. The Vols have seven commitments in their 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
