Where are they now?
The transfer portal has closed, and most teams have finalized their rosters for the 2025 college football season. Missouri football, barring any late surprises, is done with its offseason business.
Twenty-one total players have joined the MU roster for next season, with a good portion of those expected to compete for starting roles, while 25 players have transferred out of the program, per 247Sports.
It’s a lot of movement in and out, and it can be tricky to keep track of where all those former Tigers have landed.

Eddie Kelly Jr., defensive end: Kelly will head to the Big 12 to play for West Virginia under new head coach Rich Rodriguez next season. Kelly previously played for USF and Georgia Tech before Missouri. He had 16 total tackles last season as a member of MU’s edge-rushing rotation.
Jahkai Lang, defensive end: Lang, a Troy product out of St. Louis, heads to SMU after registering three sacks for MU as a redshirt freshman for Mizzou last season. He played a limited role for the Tigers, and was unlikely to see a significant uptick in his playing time in 2025.
Ja’Marion Wayne, cornerback: Wayne is Sun Belt-bound, as he has transferred to Coastal Carolina. Wayne spent three seasons with MU and went through a couple position changes, starting out as a wide receiver before moving to safety and then cornerback.
