2025 USC-Notre Dame football kickoff time announced
Believe it or not, the start of the 2025 college football season is only a few months away. We are beginning to get announcements of kickoff times for this upcoming fall. One of such games that was announced on Wednesday was USC’s rivalry matchup with Notre Dame, which this year will be played in South Bend, Indiana, on October 18.
As has been the case since 2011, the Trojans and Irish will play a night game under the lights at Notre Dame Stadium, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. Pacific/7:30 p.m. Eastern. Since it is a Notre Dame home game, it falls under the Irish’s television contract, and thus will be televised by NBC. This will be the Trojans’ only regular season game in 2025 that is not a part of the Big Ten television deal.
As we wrote last week, there is much uncertainty surrounding the future of college football’s greatest intersectional rivalry. With USC and Notre Dame having not renewed their contract beyond 2026, it is possible that this could be the Trojans’ final trip to South Bend for the foreseeable future.
Regardless of what years to come have in store, however, USC is focused on changing its fortunes against Notre Dame. The Trojans are 1-6 against their hated rivals since 2016, and they have not won in South Bend since 2011. USC fans are hoping that this trip will be different, and that they will finally be able to experience a road victory over the Irish.
