Beau Jandreau recruiting

Longhorns make their interest in Beau Jandreau clear

Over the last few weeks, the Texas Longhorns have been busy on the recruiting trail. As they look to add more talent to their 2026 class, linebacker Beau Jandreau is one player they have extended an offer to. He is ranked as the 12th best player in his class from Arizona by On3 and is drawing the interest of programs nationwide.

At the moment, Jandreau also holds offers from Oklahoma, USC, Tennessee, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Cal, Kansas State, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Notre Dame. Earlier this week, his twin brother Niko committed to Oklahoma. That has caused the Sooners to be viewed as the favorites.

However, that hasn’t stopped the Longhorns from pursuing the talented linebacker. Like his brother, Beau plays fast and is excellent at adapting to different types of coverage. He also does a great job at reading plays which would be important in a competitive SEC conference.

While the Longhorns already have several offensive weapons in their 2026 class, they need more help on defense. That is where Beau would come in. The Longhorns have excelled at developing linebackers, which could help their case in getting Beau to Austin.

Jandreau currently has visits scheduled with five schools. That list includes Oklahoma, Oregon, USC, Washington, and San Diego State. The Longhorns are hoping that changes soon to include a trip to Austin. Although Jandreu’s decision is still weeks away, he will be a prospect to watch for programs looking for a boost on defense.
