OU football adds 3-star safety Niko Jandreau in 2026 recruiting class

NORMAN — OU football earned its fifth commitment of the 2026 class when three-star safety Niko Jandreau picked the Sooners over Missouri, USC and Washington on Tuesday.

A 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety from Chandler, Arizona, Jandreau is ranked as the No. 107 safety in the class by 247Sports. He is the first commitment OU has secured since landing four-star wide receiver Daniel Odom in January.

Jandreau joins Odom, as well as four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal, three-star tight end Ryder Mix and three-star interior offensive lineman Will Conroy in the Sooners’ 2026 class.

OU has also been recruiting his twin brother, three-star linebacker Beau Jandreau. He’s planning on visiting the Sooners and others, including Oregon, USC and Washington this summer.

One Jandreau down. One to go?
