5-star OL Darius Gray reacts after impressive Georgia visit

The Georgia Bulldogs hosted many recruits this past weekend and one elite recruit expressed his joy after visiting Athens.

Five-star offensive lineman Darius Gray out of St. Christopher’s in Richmond, Virgina, posted his reaction to the visit on social media. “I had so much fun this weekend at my official visit with UGA! It was an excellent visit!” Gray said. “Thank you.”

Gray and numerous other elite recruits visited Georgia for UGA’s scavenger hunt weekend. Georgia is being aggressive after missing out on five-star offensive lineman Jackson Cantwell to Miami.

The LSU Tigers have been the leader in Gray’s recruitment process but things may change with the Bulldogs prioritizing Gray as one of their top offensive lineman they are recruiting in the 2026 class.

With five-star quarterback Jared Curtis being Georgia future at quarterback itonly seems a matter of time before head coach Kirby Smart finds someone to protect him. May will be a crucial month for recruiting where there will be many official visits and commitments from recruits.

When it is time for Gray to make his decision to choose a college, expect Georgia to be in the thick of things until the end of the race.

Gray, who is also an excellent high school basketball player, is ranked as the No. 16 recruit in the country, the No. 1 interior offensive lineman and the No. 1 prospect in Virginia. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman has several upcoming official visits in June.
