Wisconsin football head coach Luke Fickell and his staff are gearing up for official visits for the class of 2026 over the next four weeks. The program will welcome sixteen official visitors, including big names Amari Latimer and Jayden Petit, starting this weekend, May 30.
As it stands, Wisconsin’s 2026 class ranks No. 44 in the nation and No. 13 in the Big Ten, slotting just above TCU and South Carolina nationally and Northwestern and Maryland within the conference.
Wisconsin’s 2026 group is a little lower in the rankings than where Fickell and his staff hope to land, considering their first two recruiting cycles each ranking within the nation’s top 25 and the Big Ten’s top seven. The program hopes official visits will kick off a flurry of commitments in the class, those starting this weekend with several of its top targets.
Commitments from top targets Latimer, Petit, and Evan Goodwin would be significant not only for the national rankings but also for the attitude towards Fickell and his underwhelming first two seasons with the program.
