Social media reacts after 4-star DB commits to UGA football

The Georgia Bulldogs added a commitment from four-star cornerback recruit Justice Fitzpatrick, who is a member of the class of 2026. Fitzpatrick is Georgia’s third-highest ranked commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound cornerback has excellent size and length. Fitzpatrick has a solid build and looks like he could already play college football.

Fitzpatrick plays high school football for St. Thomas Aquinas, which is a powerhouse high school program, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fitzpatrick is the younger brother of former Miami Dolphins and current Pitsburgh Steelers All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, who played college football at Alabama under coach Nick Saban and defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. Minkah Fitzpatrick was a two-time All-American with Alabama.

Now, Justice Fitzpatrick will look to be the latest member of his family developed under coach Smart. However, this time it will be at the University of Georgia.

Smart and the Bulldogs have a strong track record of developing elite talent. Georgia has had 12 defensive backs selected over the past five NFL drafts including six players drafted in the first three rounds.

Justice Fitzpatrick is ranked as the No. 47 recruit in the country, the third-best cornerback and the No. 5 recruit in Florida. It is easy to understand why Georgia coaches, media and fans are all excited about Fitzpatrick’s commitment to the Bulldogs.
