Indian Hill sophomore Devlan Daniel gets offer from Miami Hurricanes

Indian Hill standout sophomore athlete Devlan Daniel announced a football offer from the Miami Hurricanes on June 8.

Daniel, a standout for the Braves as a football and baseball player, added the offer to others from Miami (Ohio), Toledo, Bowling Green and Liberty.

In 13 games as a sophomore in 2024, Daniel rushed 258 times for 2,260 yards and 34 touchdowns. On defense, Daniel had 42 total tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and a pair of interceptions. Against Reading on Oct. 4, he had a 100-yard punt return for a touchdown.

As a freshman in 2023, Daniel ran 145 times for 1,468 yards and 16 touchdowns.

He has twice been named first-team All-Cincinnati Hills League and was the CHL’s and the Division IV district Offensive Player of the Year in 2024. He was a first-team All-Ohio selection in 2024 and was named to the third team as a freshman in 2023.
